INSURANCE 

Also in 2021 we recommand the conclusion of a starting-fee insurance by the Mountain Attack Partner Nürnberger. At the registration already you can select whether you want to take out the insurance or not. From only  € 6,– (which have to be transferred together with the starting-fee) you will be reimbursed the starting-fee in case of injury upon presentation of a medical certificate with a deductible from  € 6,– directly from the Nürnberger insurance. >> Garanta damage report insurance.

SAVETY  

For your own safety, it is not possible to transfer starting places to third parties! This leads to disqualification and a ban for the parties at the following two events. We also recommend that you bring a backpack, anorak and warm gloves on all routes. ID checks are carried out when the start number is assigned.

ATHLETES LOUNGE 

Admission: one time € 15,– Pasta party with salad buffet, drinks (non-alcoholic and alcoholic), fruits and coffee. The participant lounge is located in the Attack-ARENA at the parking lot of the Schattberg X-Press. Opening times on race day are from 11.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.  Registration via „lunchgate“ is required to enter. The wrist strap, which allows multiple entry during opening hours, is mandatory to wear on the wrist. Without a ribbon, you have to pay for the entrance again.

5 SUPPLY STATIONS  

PowerBar-, Teekanne- and Interspar-refreshment stations along the route ensure that participants are supplied with gels, tea, bananas and chocolate. The positions of the refreshment-stations can be found in the route profile. There is also the Red Bull Energy Zone at the transition zone in Hinterglemm and in the Hochalm. 

2 TRANSITION ZONES 

For the MARATHON RELAY competition there will be a separate transition zone at checkpoint 2 and 4 each, where the chip has to be handed over to the following athlete. CP 2: A > B / CP 4: B > C

ATTACK-PARTY - DJ's,
LED-WALL & LIVE STREAM

The ATTACK Arena is already “race ready” in the morning. Hot beats from the Red Bull Eventcar get fans, spectators and athletes in the mood for the start at 4 p.m. sharp, while the tension builds from hour to hour. About an hour before the start, the warm-up phase really begins. The athletes gradually form up along the Saalbach village road and take up their positions in the start zones.

Our Attack presenters provide constant updates on the preparations and conduct interesting pre-race interviews. A few seconds before the start, the final countdown is initiated. Everyone counts down the last 10 seconds. This is followed by the starting shot, which sends the participants sprinting towards the Schattberg and relieves everyone of their tension.

The race is “on fire”! The whole event can be followed LIVE on site on the large LED wall in the finish area, as well as in the Livestream. Our Attack director Wolfgang Angermüller (mediahaus) and his team will provide perfect live images. The nervousness among the spectators is slowly rising again, as the first finishers are expected soon.
The Red Bull-Attack-DJs „Two Shades“ will ensure the best atmosphere until the award ceremony at 10.00 pm.
 

GASTRO SAALBACH 

Our partners Red Bull und Edelweiss ensure the right atmosphere and physical well-being in the Attack-ARENA. In the numerous restaurants in Saalbach, you will also be well catered for with culinary delicacies and delights from the region in order to replenish your energy stores to cheer on the athletes.

FAN-GONDEL 

For all spectators and fans a special trip with the Schattberg X-press to the summit immediately after the start (16.00 o’clock) will also be possible again. Use the Fan Gondola to get a close up view of the athletes - let's attack!

After the award ceremony, there will be partying, celebrating and dancing at Club Castello in the Saalbacher Hof from 10.30 pm until late into the night!
